Costa Vida was born from a deep love of coastal Latin cuisine and a belief that bold flavors deserve a home in every community.
It started in 2012 when founder Marco Reyes returned from a culinary journey along the Pacific coast of Mexico and Central America, inspired by the vibrant street food markets, fresh seafood grills, and generations-old family recipes he encountered. He brought those flavors back to Farmington, New Mexico — and Costa Vida was born.
What began as a small takeout window on East Main Street quickly grew into a beloved dining destination. Our kitchen team sources fresh, high-quality ingredients daily, crafting every dish with the same care and authenticity that defined Marco's original vision.

Growing demand drives the expansion to a full restaurant space. The team triples in size and the menu expands to include ceviches, bowls, and grilled plates.
Costa Vida begins offering full-service catering for weddings, corporate events, and community gatherings across the Four Corners region.
